The Morrison Dublin: Ideal Luxury Hotel near Temple Bar and Dublin Sights

When it came to our recent trip to Dublin, Ireland, we were looking for a luxury stay close to the pub scene. The Morrison Dublin met all our expectations. It was a quick walk to the Temple Bar and the Whiskey Reserve as well as sights such as Dublin Castle and Trinity College.

The beds – we really enjoyed the great lighting in the room including the cube nightstands

Check in was a breeze and we received a little gift of chocolates for each of us before going up to our room.

Our cozy room

The room was well lit and spacious following the modern decor of the lobby. There was a handwritten note welcoming us to Dublin as well as a bag of chocolates awaiting us. Between the check in chocolates and the room chocolates, we were in chocolate heaven!  We also had complimentary boxes of water.

A 360 View of the bathroom

The bathroom was bright with a single sink with a ledge so there were plenty of horizontal surfaces for all our sundries.  There was both a full size bathtub as well as a shower that had both a rain shower head as well as a hand-held so lots of bathing options.

The Morrison is tastefully modern in decor and we enjoyed breakfast in their hotel restaurant the Halo before going out to explore Dublin.

The Morrison has additional amenities including:

  • Room Service
  • Fitness Center
  • Concierge
  • Meeting Rooms
  • Self-Parking
  • Digital Key

Outside, the signage for the hotel is a bit nondescript and subtle which fits in nicely with the surrounding buildings. It is right next to the River Liffey and it’s just a short bridge walk over to the famous Temple Bar making it the perfect location for our trip.
