The Altis Grand Hotel in Lisbon provided easy access to many sights, but some were too far to reach on foot. Opting for a Tuk Tuk tour, the driver customised an itinerary, taking them to landmarks like the Belem Tower and the Monument to the Discoveries. A Tuk Tuk proved ideal for a strategic, time-efficient tour of the city.

During a trip to Lisbon, we booked a private tour to explore the Setúbal wine region. Starting at the Mercado do Livramento, we enjoyed the market and coastal scenery before visiting Quinta da Bacalhôa and José Maria de Fonseca for wine tastings. The crowded tours were the only downside to an otherwise enjoyable trip.
Exploring Majestic Victoria Falls from Zimbabwe and Zambia
During our trip to Zimbabwe, we visited the majestic Victoria Falls from both the Zambia and Zimbabwe sides, crossing back to Zambia from the Wallow Lodge. Our trek offered incredible views of the waterfall, with the Zimbabwe side providing the most impressive perspective due to its size and scope. If possible, visiting both sides is recommended.
Cape Town Day Trip: Private Tour Experience of the Cape of Good Hope
During our day trip from Cape Town to the Cape of Good Hope, we enjoyed scenic spots, avoided crowds, and visited the Cape Point lighthouse. With a local guide and personal driver, we explored Table Mountain National Park and had a three-course lunch at Seaforth Restaurant before viewing penguins at Boulders Beach. The experience was well worth it.
