We visited The Spectator Hotel in Charleston and were impressed by its welcoming lobby and well-designed room with luxury amenities. The hotel offers butler service, a prohibition-style bar, complimentary breakfast, valet parking, Wi-Fi access, and more. The Bar features 1920s-inspired cocktails, and turn down service includes a nightcap. The hotel has received numerous awards, affirming its status as a top luxury destination in Charleston.
Hari Kitchen, located in Franschhoek, South Africa, offers a unique dining experience with stunning views and personalized service. Clarity Restaurant offers a constantly changing tasting menu with wine and whiskey pairings. The experience had some hits and some misses, but the flexibility and good service left a positive impression. The dessert and seafood courses received mixed reviews, but overall, it was considered a good value and they plan to return.
While there are a million “best bars in Old San Juan” lists, we found Scryer Rum and Barrelhouse has a nice local feel with great craft cocktails.
